Peter Crouch played with West Ham United star Marko Arnautovic at Stoke City.

Arnautovic’s brother, Danijel Arnautovic, has told talkSPORT that the Austria international wants to leave West Ham in the January transfer window and move to China.
The 29-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, joined the Hammers from Stoke in the summer of 2017.
Crouch played with the Australia international at Stoke, and the striker has suggested that Arnautovic did show interest in going to China.
“The interest in him from the Chinese Super League, however, does not surprise me,” Crouch wrote in The Daily Mail about Arnautovic.
“I remember talking to him about it a couple of years ago when their clubs started buying players such as Oscar and Ramires from Chelsea. China was definitely on his radar.”

Leaving West Ham United
If Arnautovic wants to leave West Ham in the January transfer window, then the London club should let him go, provided they get a good transfer fee.
It does not make much sense for manager Manuel Pellegrini to have a player in his squad who does not want to be there.
The sensible option for West Ham will be to sell Arnautovic for a sizeable transfer fee and use that money to invest in the squad in the summer of 2019.
