Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier has not had much game time this season.

Tottenham Hotspur are reeling from a 7-2 home defeat to Bayern Munich.
Spurs were outplayed and taught a lesson in finishing, with former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry scoring four goals.
BT Sport pundit Peter Crouch has called for Tottenham to now give Eric Dier a run in the team.
Crouch told BT’s post game coverage: “Eric Dier is sitting there watching on the bench.
“The defence needs protecting. He’s a ready made replacement.
“I think he might have a part to play now.”

Dier has had a very inconsistent 2019 due to illness and injury issues.
This season he has barely played at all.
He has made just one appearance in the Premier League, a 12 minute substitute role against Southampton.
His only start came in the defeat to Colchester United in the Carabao Cup.
Crouch’s point is that perhaps Spurs need to mix it up, and a change of personnel could be required.
Tottenham need players with character to help them bounce back from this defeat, and Dier fits the bill.
