Aston Villa are currently in 17th place in the Championship table, following a draw with Nottingham Forest.

Peter Beagrie has told Sky Sports, during their coverage of Aston Villa’s match against Nottingham Forest, that he believes Roberto Di Matteo’s side will go from strength to strength as the season progresses.
Villa could only manage a 2-2 draw against Forest earlier today, but their performance in the contest was encouraging.
The Claret and Blues created a vast amount of chances, with their attacking talent coming to the fore.
And Beagrie said: “From the fans’ point of view, and seeing the goals today and the interchange of the attacking players… I think this is going to be Roberto’s team now, and I see them going from strength to strength.”

Despite Beagrie’s optimism, Villa’s start to the season has been disappointing.
Di Matteo’s side are currently stuck in 17th place in the Championship table, despite investing a sizeable amount of money in their squad over the summer.

Villa have won just one of their first seven matches, and will be under pressure to start picking up victories quickly to ensure that they meet expectations.
The Midlands side’s next match comes against Brentford on Wednesday evening at Villa Park.
