Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Christian Pulisic has personally asked Chelsea to let him leave, amid interest from AC Milan.

The Italian journalist has claimed that Christian Pulisic has told Chelsea that he wants to leave in the summer transfer window, and that AC Milan are interested in signing the American star.

Romano has added that Milan are confident of securing the services of £150,000-a-week (SalarySport) USA international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

Could Christian Pulisic leave Chelsea for AC Milan this summer?

In our opinion, it is now likely that Christian Pulisic will leave Chelsea for AC Milan in the summer transfer window.

If the 24-year-old has already made it clear to Chelsea that he wants to leave, then it is unlikely that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will keep him against his will.

Milan appear to be confident of getting a deal done for Pulisic.

The American has not always been at his best for Chelsea, but he is a very good attacking player who was brilliant at Borussia Dortmund.

Milan are one of the biggest and most historic clubs in the world, and Pulisic could help them win Serie A next season and also make a huge impact in the UEFA Champions League, like they did in the last campaign.
