Perry Groves gave his thoughts on reported Arsenal target Said Benrahma on talkSPORT (11:44am, August 7, 2020).

The former Arsenal winger, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, has doubts whether the Brentford winger will be a success at the Gunners.

According to The Daily Mail, the Gunners are interested in signing the 24-year-old Algeria international attacker from Championship side Brentford in the summer transfer window.

The Telegraph has claimed that the Bees are looking for £25 million as transfer fee for the former Nice player.

Groves does not think that Benrahma is at the level to take the Gunners from Europa League qualifiers to challengers for the Champions League places, pointing out that the winger struggled to make an impact in the Championship playoff final against Fulham, which the Bees lost.

The former Arsenal man said about Benrahma on talkSPORT (11:44am, August 7, 2020): “I don’t think he is at that level, to be honest. I think on the night he froze. I am not sure if Benrahma is at that level.”
