Javier Hernandez is being linked with an exit from West Ham so should Spurs renew their interest?

Hernandez came off the bench to score the equaliser as the Hammers drew 1-1 at Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend, with the striker having only started 16 league matches this season.

The 29-year-old only joined West Ham from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2017 and manager David Moyes is keen for Mexico’s all-time top-scorer to remain at the London Stadium.
Where could he go?
German publication Bild reported last summer that Tottenham Hotspur had shown interest in Hernandez before the former Manchester United forward made the switch to East London instead.

While Harry Kane is the undisputed first choice in the number nine role under Mauricio Pochettino, finding adequate backup for the England international has proven problematic with Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen before him failing to live up to expectations.
Hernandez, known affectionately as ‘Chicharito’, earned himself a super-sub reputation at Old Trafford by often scoring after coming off the bench and while the Mexican is seeking more regular game time, could he be convinced that that he could achieve that as Kane’s understudy?
