Could Tony Pulis make a surprise late push in the snail’s paced race to land the vacant Rangers job?
The Gers are yet to appoint a successor to Pedro Caixinha, and Pulis is the latest manager to find himself on the unemployment line.
West Brom sacked Pulis earlier today, and immediately the Welshman was touted for the Rangers job by Chris Sutton.
Like Sam Allardyce, Pulis is a manager who divides opinion due to the negative style of football his sides play.

In England he has cultivated a reputation as a survival specialist, unfortunately he has not won a league title during his managerial career since 1986/87, a third division trophy with Bournemouth.
Rangers should be looking for more than that, a manager capable of elevating them to the next level, although some supporters are open to the prospect of potentially hiring the former Stoke boss.
Not all are in favour, but Rangers are in a dire position right now and the prospect of them taking a punt on Pulis seems pragmatic if little else.
