West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after watching a snippet from Pep Guardiola’s pre-match press conference earlier today.

The Spaniard was speaking ahead of West Ham’s clash with Manchester City tomorrow afternoon, and he said something that’s gone down very well.

Guardiola exclaimed ‘come on you Irons’ after waxing lyrical about David Moyes and how he treated him when he first arrived in England.

The 57-year-old took his Sunderland side to the Etihad Stadium back in August 2016, for what was the ex-Barcelona manager’s first game in charge of the Citizens.

Guardiola said Moyes was very friendly to him, and gave him some advice on how to deal with life in the Premier League.

Over four years on from that encounter, it seems as if the pair are still on good terms, so much so that the 50-year-old declared ‘come on you Irons’ in his press conference.

If the Hammers can record another win tomorrow, it would be a serious statement of intent from Moyes’ men.

It would also boost their chances of Champions League football massively.
