Liverpool have been mightily impressive this season.

Pepe Reina sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and suggested that every single Liverpool player seems to be hungry to achieve greatness.
The Spaniard spent nine years with the Reds, and is somewhat of a cult hero at Anfield.
Liverpool have come on leaps and bounds since the 36-year-old left Merseyside, however, and they are now considered to be genuine challengers for major honours both domestically and on the continent.
Jurgen Klopp’s side missed out on the Premier League title by just one point this season, and they are in the Champions League final for the second consecutive year.
And Reina shared something he has noticed about the Liverpool players when watching them this season, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website:

“It’s good for football itself. That’s where Liverpool belongs and hopefully it will be like that for many years to come. They have done a fantastic job from the top of the club to the last player. They seem hungry to me and that’s important in football – to become even better and better. It’s home. I was there eight years – nine with the season I was on loan with Napoli. I consider Liverpool my home and it will always be like that.”
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side seem to be on the verge of achieving something very special, and if they are victorious in Madrid on June 1st, the German will undoubtedly go down in the history books as one of the Reds’ greatest ever managers, considering how far he has taken this group of players.
