Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff is said to be wanted by Manchester United, and the Manchester City boss is a big fan.

Newcastle midfielder Longstaff has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent times.
Some Manchester United fans have suggested that Longstaff isn’t a high profile enough target for them.
However, Guardiola’s comments on the Newcastle man will surely make them more excited about a move.
“We could not deal with Newcastle’s holding midfielders [Longstaff and Isaac Hayden],” he said.
“We started with the goal but we didn’t have the rhythm we need to impose our game.
“We didn’t take the rhythm of the game, it was slow and we weren’t aggressive enough.”

Newcastle were one of the select few sides who were able to beat Manchester City this season.
The Magpies won 2-1 over City at St. James’ Park, with Longstaff playing a starring role.
Newcastle are believed to be determined to keep hold of Longstaff, but whether a move to Manchester United will tempt the youngster remains to be seen.
