Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will face competition from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Star.
Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal linked with Alexis Mac Allister
The report has claimed that defending Premier League champions Manchester City are keen on bringing the Argentina international midfielder to the Etihad Stadium.
The Seagulls value Mac Allister, who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina, at £70 million.
City manager Guardiola reportedly believes that the 24-year-old ‘would be the perfect addition for his squad this summer’.
However, according to the report, City will have competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal for Mac Allister.

Exit inevitable
In our view, it is inevitable that Alexis Mac Allister will leave Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window amid interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.
The 24-year-old has progressed steadily during his time at Brighton and was superb for Argentina at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Now, the Seagulls were never going to sell the 24-year-old in the middle of the season despite interest in him, but things are likely to change in the summer of 2023.
It is really hard to see Brighton turn down an offer of £70 million for Mac Allister.
