Leeds United produced a stunning performance to beat Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites took the lead through Stuart Dallas, but their task looked massively difficult when Liam Cooper picked up a red card.
Ferran Torres equalised for City, but Marcelo Bielsa’s relentless Whites found the energy to create a late chance, which Dallas finished brilliantly.
Beating the champions-elect with 10 men for more than half of the game is unbelievable, and just another sign of Bielsa’s magic.
The focus has really been on Brazilian winger Raphinha of late, and he was superb once again – even if he didn’t register a goal or assist.
The summer signing from Rennes has dazzled in the Premier League this season, and he appears to have picked up a major fan in Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola told City’s official website that he thinks Raphina is an ‘exceptional player’ and had a ‘good game’ at the Etihad Stadium, believing that he is getting better under
“Of course he is a weapon. He is an exceptional player with good pace,” said Guardiola. “Every player under Marcelo is getting better and he played a good game,” he added.
Major clubs are already looking at Raphinha, and with Guardiola clearly an admirer, who can rule out City moving for him in the future?
