After clinching the signing of Eden Hazard, Chelsea can get to work on signing their next targets, including their manager.
While mid-February time was pretty hell-ish, this summer is arguably the most exciting ever time to be a Chelsea fan.
Yes, even more exciting than when Roman Abramovich took over.
Now they are European Champions, they have even clinched the signing of the continent’s hottest property, Eden Hazard.
Add that to Marko Marin and Kevin de Bruyne, two exciting wingers ready to join the squad, and Chelsea’s attacking options are looking incredible.

In the Jose Mourinho era Chelsea were often derided for playing ugly, if effective football.
A team is being created that has the potential to play free-flowing, attacking, and winning football.
New targets will also have to be identified, a new striker, a new right-back, a new defensive midfielder, but forget all that.
The biggest signing Chelsea could make is not on the pitch, but off it.
They still have to appoint a new manager, and we have to say, Roberto Di Matteo’s prospects look dicey.
Di Matteo could barely have done anything more as interim manager, he won the FA Cup and Champions League.
He has only two points counting against him, his average Premier League record, and his defensive set-up.
With the plethora of attacking talent in Chelsea’s ranks next season, is a manager who attained success through a safety-first type approach, and a backs-to-the-wall job in Munich.
Perhaps it is a harsh view, but it will not be ignored in Chelsea’s chase for a new manager.
Work is obviously going on behind the scenes to resolve the situation sooner rather than later. Any new man will now have the extra fillet of having Eden Hazard at his disposal.
There will be no return of the Special One, but we just wonder if Pep Guardiola is ready to be ‘seduced’ by Roman Abramovich’s millions and the incredible attacking talent he would have to work with.
It could even have been what convinced Hazard to sign…
