The Manchester City boss is a huge fan of Liverpool.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola spoke to reporters yesterday, and listed four specific reasons why Liverpool have become such a great side, as quoted by Sky Sports.

The Cityzens currently sit in second spot in the Premier League table, two points adrift of the Reds, but they can leapfrog Jürgen Klopp’s side into top spot with a win against Cardiff City at the Etihad tonight.

Manchester City and Liverpool have been far and away the two best sides in the Premier League this season, and it looks like the title race could very well go down to the last weekend of the campaign.

And Guardiola raved about Klopp’s side, when speaking to reporters yesterday, suggesting that the Merseyside outfit have ‘everything’, as quoted by Sky Sports:

Jurgen Klopp, Manager of Liverpool shakes hands with Josep Guardiola, Manager of Manchester City prior to the Premier League match between Manchester City and Liverpool FC at the Etihad...

“They are one of the strongest teams I have faced. They have everything. They have good tactics, they have great defensive strength, they have very good high pressing and they have a very good counter-attack. They had some problems with their positional play before, but that has improved a lot too. Liverpool have everything. That’s why it’s so close.”

Whilst City play host to Cardiff tonight, next up for Liverpool’s a trip to the south coast to take on Southampton on Friday night, and nothing less than a win will do for Klopp’s men, with Guardiola’s side in relentless form.
