
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has given his take on Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson winning the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year award today, as quoted on the club’s official Twitter page.
As announced on FWA’s official Twitter page today, Henderson has been crowned the Footballer of the Year for the 2019-20 campaign.
The former Sunderland midfielder, who captained Liverpool to the Premier League title this season, beat City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to the accolade, according to Sky Sports.

City have finished second in the Premier League this season and will be determined to beat Liverpool to the title in 2020-21.
