Pep Guardiola gives verdict on Leeds United after Elland Road display tonight

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has given his take on Leeds United after facing them at Elland Road tonight, as quoted in Leeds Live.

City have played out a 1-1 draw with Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Premier League.

England international attacking player Raheem Sterling put the former Premier League champions in the lead after 17 minutes.

Spain international striker Rodrigo – who joined the Whites from Valencia in the summer transfer window – scored the equaliser for the home team on 59 minutes.

City manager Guardiola was impressed with the display produced by Leeds and has raved about them.

Guardiola told Leeds Live about Leeds: “Incredible team, fantastic team. Destroyed the Championship last season.”

The City boss added: “They are fantastic team. We struggled to make the first press.”
