City have some talent on their hands in Gabriel Jesus and he will surely be thankful for the presence of fellow Brazilians in the dressing room.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says the presence of Fernando and Fernandinho in his squad will help young Brazilian Gabriel Jesus settle in English football, according to the club’s official Twitter account.
City beat off a whole host of other European giants to secure the services of one of South American football’s hottest prospects in the summer for a hefty £27 million, as reported by Sky Sports, though the teenage forward will only join up with his new team-mates in the new year in order to complete the Brazilian season with Palmeiras.
And Guardiola has no concerns that Gabriel, who starred in a prodigious front three with Neymar (below) and Gabigol as Brazil won gold at the Rio Olympics, will find it difficult to adapt in a new league and a new continent.

The 20-year-old may have to be patient in his first few months at the Etihad, with Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Jesus Navas, Kelechi Iheanacho and Leroy Sane (below) all competing for a starting berth in one of City’s attacking positions.

However, Gabriel’s ability to play on either flank or through the middle will surely endear him to a manger famed for his desire to alter player’s positions and increase versatility on the pitch via shapeshifting formations.
Former Arsenal enforcer Gilberto Silva told Goal earlier in the day that his young compatriot will have to adapt quickly to English football but believes he has the potential to become one of the greatest of his generation.
And the presence and helping hands of Fernando and Fernandinho could certainly ease a daunting transition to a multi-lingual dressing room.explains
