Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were impressed by the performance of Oliver Skipp for the England Under-21 side on Thursday.
Skipp, who is on loan at Norwich City from Tottenham at the moment, started for the England Under-21 side against their Switzerland counterparts in the European Under-21 Championship.
It was a very disappointing performance from the Young Lions, who lost their opening group game 1-0.
One player who did well for Aidy Boothroyd’s side is Skipp. The midfielder has been playing well for Norwich in the Championship – he has scored one goal and provided one assist in 38 league games, according to WhoScored – and he seems to have taken that form to the international set-up.
The youngster did well in the middle of the park, connected nicely with his Norwich teammate Max Aarons, and won his battles against Toni Domgjoni and Bastien Toma.
Skipp also drove the team forward whenever he got a chance and worked hard in the middle of the park.

Some Tottenham fans were impressed by the display of Skipp on Thursday afternoon and have raved about him on Twitter.
