Speaking on his YouTube channel, Charles Watts has shared what he’s heard about Jakub Kiwior after he signed for Arsenal.
Arsenal recently signed Kiwior from Italian side Spezia, and according to Watts, people in Italy are raving about the young talent.
Watts stated that the people he has spoken to in Italy believe that Kiwior has the potential to be a top player in the future, and that the midfielder is already showing signs of his quality. He is reportedly comfortable on the ball, which is a key attribute for any central midfielder looking to make an impact in the Premier League.
The Gunners have been in need of a quality left-footed centre-back to act as a backup for Gabriel for some time, and they are hoping that Kiwior can fill that gap.

Watts shared what he’s heard about Kiwior
“Kiwior is a bit of an unknown quantity we don’t know what he’ll be like. People in Italy say he’s very very good,” Watts said.
“His rise over thh last two years has been dramatic. A lot of big clubs in Italy have been in for him. He’s very cultured apparently with his passing, he can progress the ball forward, so he feels like an Arteta player and he’s cover for Gabriel.”
Could be genius
The signing of Kiwior is a low-key move for Arsenal, but it could prove to be a masterstroke if he develops into the player that the people in Italy believe he can be. It can take some time for young players to settle in and find their feet in the Premier League, but these early reports are very encouraging.
It’s hard not be excited to see how Kiwior develops under the guidance of Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal coaching staff. The Gunners have a recent history of developing young talent, and they are hoping that Kiwior can be the latest in a long line of successful players to flourish at the Emirates.
This could end up being a genius signing if Kiwior can kick on in England.
