Bild’s Christian Falk made a big claim about Jude Bellingham’s future last week.
Indeed, the notable journalist stated that he had heard that Bellingham’s family had decided that they would prefer the midfielder to move to Liverpool this summer as the Reds continue to show an interest in the England star.
Speaking on The Athletic’s YouTube channel, David Ornstein has now shared what he’s heard about Bellingham’s family, and while he couldn’t confirm that their preference would be a move to Liverpool, he did say that everyone he has spoken to has praised the family’s ability to make the right decisions for the midfielder and lead him in the right direction.
Bellingham’s family can be trusted
Ornstein shared what he knows about Bellingham.
“So much can change. Bellingham has a really strong set-up around him that is led by his family. They are lauded and praised by many people I speak to and these people back them to make the right decision and the best decision for his career, which may be to stay at Borussia Dortmund,” Ornstein said.
Liverpool the right choice
If Bellingham’s family are as wise as Ornstein makes out, then it’s easy to believe the reports that he’s being pushed towards a move to Liverpool.
A move to Anfield suits the youngster so much right now.
With Jordan Henderson and Thiago both entering their mid-30s, there’s a clear gap for Bellingham in this team – a gap that isn’t present at Manchester City, PSG or Real Madrid, while Jurgen Klopp has publicly admitted just how much he loves the player in the past.
A move to Liverpool may be the logical next step in this budding prodigy’s career.
