Speaking to Oh My Goal, Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier has shared what he does after every game.
The Ivorian international has shared that he rewatches every match after the game has finished because he feels he needs to know where he needs to improve.
The interviewer asked Aurier if he watches every game he playes afterwards, to which he replied:
“Yes, all the time whether I am good or bad. All the time because I need to know what I did well and not well and what I need to improve.
“People don’t know this, but I have been doing this for years.”
Aurier then went on to say that this is something he’s been doing for years.
“To tell the truth I did it since I was in Toulouse. Maybe in Lens, but back then I didn’t have the means to rewatch my videos, in Toulouse my agent sent me everything.”

This is what seperates the good footballers from the elite professionals.
Aurier has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, and it’s no coincidence that he watches every game afterwards looking at how he can improve.
Nobody is ever perfect, even when you’re playing at the standard Aurier is playing at, and the fact that he’s looking at how to improve after every game is why he’s able to sustain such a high level.
Let’s hope that other Tottenham players follow the right-back’s example.
