Southampton welcome Leicester City to St Mary’s in the Premier League tomorrow.

Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino spoke to reporters ahead of his side’s clash with Leicester City at St Mary’s tomorrow, and shared what he told his players after training today, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Southampton have made a respectable if not spectacular start to their 2017/18 Premier League campaign, and currently sit in 11th position in the table, having taken 18 points from their opening 16 league outings.
Pellegrino’s men were unlucky not to beat Arsenal on Sunday, having led for 85 minutes before Olivier Giroud’s late equaliser, and Saints fans are just starting to see the fruits of the Argentine’s labour.

The Southampton boss addressed the media today during his pre-match press conference, and opened up on a conversation he shared with his players at the end of training today, as quoted by SouthamptonFC.com:

“I have told my squad that the good news is I feel that most of them are ready to play. Sometimes it depends on the qualities we need in the game, while always keeping the same model and style. Some of them have to wait for their opportunities but the most important thing is the mentality to be really well prepared to help the team.”
The south coast outfit can climb as high as 10th with a win against the Foxes tomorrow, although they will have their work cut-out with the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy currently firing on all cylinders for Claude Puel’s men.
