The play-maker joined West Ham United on a short-term deal in January.

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference today, and admitted that it was a risk signing Samir Nasri on a free transfer in January, as quoted by Football.London.
The experienced Frenchman joined the Hammers as a free agent three months ago, having missed more than a year due to a doping ban.
He has shown glimpses of his talent, but injures have severely hampered his progress at the London Stadium.
Nasri, who earns £80,000 per week according to the Sun, has made just six appearances in all competitions for West Ham this season, and his chances of earning a long-term contract with the east London outfit seem to be fading with every week that passes.
And Pellegrini told reporters that he is unsure as to whether the Frenchman will be offered a new deal at the end of the season, as quoted by Football.London:

“About next season, I don’t know. We knew he was a risk having not played for a year. We will see.”
West Ham have just six Premier League games remaining this season, so Nasri does not have long left to prove his worth, especially considering the fact that he is currently out injured.
