Manchester City’s Claudio Bravo won’t be joining West Ham United this summer.

West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has been quoted by The Mirror as saying that he has no chance of signing compatriot Claudio Bravo from Manchester City this summer.
The Hammers have already tied up their first summer signing as right back Ryan Fredericks arrived from Fulham earlier this week, joining on a free transfer.
New boss Pellegrini will be expecting plenty more signings to arrive at the London Stadium this summer, and a new goalkeeper may be a top priority for the Hammers.

Joe Hart has returned to Manchester City following the end of his loan deal, whilst question marks still hang over the future of veteran Spaniard Adrian after another mixed campaign.
A first-choice stopper is imperative for West Ham, but one player who seemingly isn’t heading to East London is Manchester City stopper Claudio Bravo.
The Chilean international, 35, was a regular for Barcelona before heading to City in 2016, and he has made a total of 43 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Bravo won the Premier League title with City this past season and could be looking to move on for first-team football having lost his role to Ederson, but a move to West Ham seems impossible.
Boss Pellegrini has been quoted by The Mirror as saying that a deal for his compatriot is ‘not viable’ as his wages are too expensive for the Hammers to afford.
“Signing [Claudio] Bravo for West Ham is not viable either. It is not in West Ham’s salary possibilities.”
