Rangers must target Ovie Ejaria’s teammate.

Rangers tried to make Ovie Ejaria’s loan move to Ibrox work out and gave the midfielder every opportunity.
In the end it was not meant to be and the 20-year-old requested to return from Rangers to Liverpool.
Steven Gerrard maintains great relations with his former side and should be looking at Ejaria’s clubmate Pedro Chirivella as a replacement.
Chirivella signed at Anfield in 2013 and is known to Steven Gerrard.
He spent last season out on loan in the Eredivisie at Willem II where he picked up valuable experience, playing more than 30 games.
The 21-year-old needs to make a next step in his career and there is a path for Rangers to sign him permanently if a loan is successful.

Liverpool reported accepted an offer worth £3.5 million for Chirivella in the summer from Rosenborg, but he pushed to remain with the Reds.
First team chances have not been forthcoming since, and the Spaniard will need to consider an exit. A temporary one at first can get the ball rolling for Rangers.
He has been a regular for Liverpool’s under-23s, scoring yesterday in their win at Swansea.
Chrivella is a classy player who fits the young profile of player Rangers are looking for. There is a good chance he would be an upgrade on Ejaria.
