Glasgow Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha is mocked by the Celtic fans.

Celtic fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Pedro Caixinha’s decision to ban Rangers players from playing with green boots.

Caixinha has told The Scottish Sun that he has banned his Rangers players from wearing green boots as ‘green’ is the colour of the Gers’ bitter rivals Celtic.

“It is the colour of Celtic,” the Rangers manager told The Scottish Sun when asked if the ban was because it clashed with the colour of the grass. “From today, no one will wear boots of that colour.”

Caixinha’s decision to ban the Rangers players from wearing green boots has amused the Celtic fans very much, as the following posts on Twitter show.

Celtic will be favourites to win the Scottish Premiership yet again next season. The Glasgow giants clinched the league title during the 2016-17 campaign without losing a single match.

Brendan Rodgers’s side also claimed the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup last season, as well as progressed to the group stage of the Champions League.

Rangers endured a disappointing season in Scottish Premiership in 2016-17, as they finished third in the table.

The Ibrox outfit will be aiming to at least end up second in the standings next season and give Celtic a run for their money.
