Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been linked with Vladimir Weiss for some time?

Pedro Caixinha has admitted to the Scottish Sun that he wants to add wingers at Glasgow Rangers.

Caixinha has been frustrated with the poor delivery his side have offered up from wide areas this season.

And Rangers are now planning to improve their wing options for next campaign, as the Light Blues plot new additions.

Caixinha said: “We are looking to have much more association with the wide areas next season and increase those combinations.

“We are looking for the arrival of totally different sorts of players to perform in that zone of the park.

“I want a team who can change the pattern by playing inside, playing behind and switch the play.

“So we want all those type of relationships to improve but definitely we want to play more in the wide areas.”

Could Weiss be a target?

If Rangers are looking to make an addition in wide-areas, then surely Weiss will come into Caixinha’s thinking.

Caixinha has worked with Weiss before, and the Slovakian is very well known at Ibrox.

Weiss spent a season on loan at Rangers back in 2010-11, and he quickly became a popular figure in Glasgow.

More recently, Weiss has suggested that he would be keen to return to Rangers (HITC), and the transfer appears to make a lot of sense, with Caixinha so determined to improve his options out wide.
