Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers won their first match with Pedro Caixinha 4-0 against Hamilton.
Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has told the club’s official website that he wants his new side’s players to come to him with their problems.
Rangers appointed Caixinha earlier in the month, and he is still implementing his philosophy at Ibrox.
One of the changes that Caixinha wants to make, is to ensure that Rangers players go directly to him with any issues that come up.
He said: “I want the players to be honest with me, to be clear with me and come directly me to me as the first person.
“I want to have that relationship, but I know, sometimes they feel more comfortable talking with the assistants than with myself – that is something I need to change.”
Caixinha has had the luxury of having two weeks to work with the bulk of his Rangers squad on the training ground without competitive action due to the international break.
Caixinha has already stated that he wants Rangers to be a more attacking side than they were under Mark Warburton.
Caixinha’s first match in charge of the Light Blues could hardly have gone better, as his new side picked up a 4-0 win over Hamilton.
Rangers are next in action against Motherwell on Saturday, and a victory could see them close the gap on second placed Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership standings.
