Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 2-0 by Celtic in their most recent fixture.
Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has told the Daily Record that his conversation with Brendan Rodgers at the end of the Old-Firm derby was very friendly.
Caixinha was shown talking and smiling with Rodgers, after Celtic beat Rangers in their most recent match.
The Portuguese boss was criticised from some Rangers fans, for seemingly not showing much anger at full-time.
And Caixinha has revealed details of his conversation with Rodgers now.
“We just saluted. I just congratulated him,” Caixinha said.
“He said we will meet on Saturday and I invited him to drink a good Portuguese wine after the match that I have in my office back at Ibrox.”
Rangers were throughly outplayed by Celtic at Hampden Park yesterday, and they rarely threatened during the contest.
Rangers fell to a 2-0 defeat to Celtic, with both Callum McGregor and Scott Sinclair getting on the scoresheet.
Celtic have now managed to win four of the five Old-Firm derbies which have taken place so far this season.
Rangers will have another chance to attempt to beat their rivals when they meet at Ibrox at the weekend.
