Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have already added five new players to their squad this season.
Pedro Caixinha has told Glasgow Rangers’ official website that he faces a major job convincing his players to work together as a unit.
Caixinha wants to ensure that his Rangers side are not at all individualistic in the next campaign.
And the Portuguese boss hopes that he can convince the players at Ibrox that they are valued as people as well as players.
“I think the major job I am going to have is to convince the players they are human and they need to work as a unit,” he said. “It is much easier for me to have guys who already know the message to spread the message.”
Caixinha has looked to bring a number of players who he has worked with before to Rangers, to ensure that many members of the squad know exactly how he operates.
Rangers have already been highly active this summer, with Caixinha planning to make a number of alterations to his starting line-up.
Rangers’ five new additions has given the squad a very cosmopolitan feel, and more overseas arrivals are expected in the near future.
Rangers finished a long way behind Celtic this past season, but Caixinha has promised to close the gap next time around.
