Pedro Caixinha shares how Kenny Miller reacted after being dropped by Glasgow Rangers

Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers decided to take Kenny Miller out of their starting line-up.

Pedro Caixinha has told the Daily Record that Kenny Miller acted with total respect when told he would not be in Glasgow Rangers’ squad to face Hamilton, in their last contest.

Miller’s future at Ibrox was heavily speculated about prior to the international break, as he reportedly had a fall out with Caixinha.

Miller was sent to train with Rangers’ youngsters, and taken out of the Light Blues’ team for their 4-1 victory against Hamilton.

However, the veteran forward seems to be back in contention now, and Caixinha has praised Miller’s attitude to the set-back.

The Portuguese boss said: “With full respect. He’s a senior player, he understands things.

“We spoke, we clarify everything regarding those decisions, because sometimes it’s important for you to justify the decisions. Other times I don’t have to justify anything. But we clarified everything and, as I told you, he’s one of ours.”

Whether Miller will come back into Rangers’ starting line-up remains to be seen, as the Light Blues were in fine form before the international break.

Rangers looked highly impressive against Hamilton, as they picked up a comfortable three points.

Rangers are next in action on Friday evening, when they take on St. Johnstone.

If the Gers are able to pick up the victory they could move within three points of the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
