Pedro Caixinha has suggested to Glasgow Rangers’ official website that he has already met with three players at his Ibrox side to tell them that they won’t be at the club next season.

Caixinha is already making plans for next term, when he has promised to close the gap on Celtic.

Rangers have been left behind by their Glasgow rivals this season, but are planning to make vast improvements over the summer.

The Daily Record claim that Rangers are looking to bring in as many as 12 new players.

To do so, Caixinha plans to offload a number of Rangers’ first-team players who do not feature in his plans.

And he has already told a number of players that they will be leaving Ibrox in the near future.

The Portuguese boss said: ’I have already met with three players and already they know their situation for next season.

“They are not going to continue with us. For me, it is important that they learn this from me and the others will also be announced in the correct manner.”

The Scottish Sun have reported Caixinha has told Clint Hill and Philippe Senderos they are no longer needed at Rangers, although the third player has not yet been named.
