Glasgow Rangers won against Hamilton Academical at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has taken to social networking site Twitter to thank the fans for welcoming him to Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

Caixinha was delighted with the reception he got from the Rangers fans for his first game in charge of the first team.

The Gers got the better of Hamilton Academical 4-0 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Emerson Hyndman, Clint Hill, Martyn Waghorn and Lee Wallace scored the goals for the home team.

Rangers manager Caixinha has taken to Twitter to thank the fans for welcoming him to Ibrox.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, hosts Rangers had 62% of the possession, took 10 shots of which six were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Hamilton had 38% of the possession, took four shots of which two were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.

Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 50 points from 29 matches.
