Glasgow Rangers signed Jordan Rossiter in the summer of 2016 following his departure from Liverpool.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has explained to The Scottish Sun how he plans to use Jordan Rossiter next season.
Rossiter joined Scottish Premiership club Rangers in the summer of 2016 after leaving Premier League side Liverpool at the end of the 2015-16 season.
According to The Daily Mail, the 20-year-old midfielder earns £10,000 per week at the Gers, who paid, as reported by The Daily Record, the Reds a compensation fee of £250,000.
Much was expected of the former England Under-19 international when he made the switch to Ibrox, but the youngster’s 2016-17 season has been severely affected by injuries.

Rossiter has been able to make only a handful of appearances for the Gers in the Scottish Premiership this campaign, and has been on the sidelines since August with a recurring back problem that has also caused issues with his hamstrings, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
Rangers manager Caixinha, though, seems to rate the former Liverpool youngster highly, and has explained how he plans to use him next season once he recovers full fitness.
“He’s just coming back but you can see he has a nice first touch,” Caixinha told The Scottish Sun about Rossiter.
“He is a holding midfielder, which I call a number six, and is very important in the first build-up between the centre-halves to receive and clear the ball from there — the build-up, the division of play and the balance.
“If I blur the lines with one single pass, I do it. If I need to switch from the closed side to the open side, I do it.
“I like those sort of players who play at six. For a team that needs control and initiative of the game, it’s a key position.”
