Niko Kranjcar moved to Ibrox last summer, but has missed much of his first season at Glasgow Rangers through injury.
Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has told the Glasgow Evening Times that Niko Kranjcar’s professionalism has impressed him.
Kranjcar has missed much of the season with injury, after moving to Ibrox last summer.
The experienced midfielder is set to return to the Rangers fold next term.
And Caixinha has already been impressed by the Croatian’s dedication.
“He has nothing to prove as an individual but he is committed and is looking to perform at his best level for Rangers,” Caixinha said of the former Tottenham and Queens Park Rangers midfielder.
“I met him at the last stage of his recovery but I can tell you what a great professional he is. He is the first one to arrive at training and normally the last one to go.”
Kranjcar’s absence for Rangers has been a major disappointment, as he was expected to have an important role to play this term.
Kranjcar was one of Rangers’ marquee additions last summer, but he has not been able to show his quality at Ibrox.
Kranjcar played just nine Scottish Premiership games, before picking up an injury which has kept him out for the rest of the campaign.
