Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers won against St Johnstone, thanks to goals from Ibrox stars Carlos Pena and Graham Dorrans, but Kenny Miller did not feature.

The Gers got the better of St. Johnstone 3-0 away from home at McDiarmid Park in Perth in the Scottish Premiership on Friday evening.
Carlos Pena scored twice for the Ibrox outfit, and Graham Dorrans added the third in the 86th minute.
Miller, though, did not feature in the match. According to BBC Sport, the former Celtic striker did not travel with the Rangers squad to Perth (click here to read more)
Rangers manager Caixinha has explained why the 37-year-old former Derby County and Wolverhampton Wanderers did not play against St. Johnstone, suggesting that he had an injury.

Caixinha told BT Sport 1 on Friday evening (7:36pm, October 13, 2017) in the build-up to the match when asked why Miller was not in the squad. “He felt something down there, he felt something down there. For precaution we left him out.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at at McDiarmid Park in Perth on Friday evening, visitors Rangers had 55% of the possession, took 15 shots of which five were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win means that Rangers are now third in the Scottish Premiership table with 17 points from three matches.

Meanwhile, Rangers midfielder Josh Windass has revealed to The Daily Record the discussion he had with manager Caixinha about his inadvertent tackle on the Portuguese in the Old Firm derby against Celtic.
Windass told The Daily Record: “It’s been in a few of my mates’ group chats! The gaffer laughed about it so it was all right.
“I got a big grass burn from it at the time so I wasn’t too happy. But the gaffer came up to me the next day and laughed about it. To be fair he got up quicker than me.”
