Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers appeared to be set to offload Josh Windass earlier this summer.
Pedro Caixinha appears to have done a complete u-turn on Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass, after his display against Sheffield Wednesday.
Windass was in impressive form for Rangers at the weekend, as they picked up a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfielder scored Rangers’ first goal of the match, and looked likely throughout.

And Caixinha said: “I was totally happy with Josh. This is the kind of performance we know he is capable of.
“We need to keep working with him, on his maturity and his understanding of the game. But if he is switched on like he was today then he can be a brilliant player for us.”
Caixinha’s comments come after rumours that Windass was all set to depart Ibrox this summer.
Windass seems to have forced his way back into Caixinha’s plans, and now could have a role to play in the season ahead.
Rangers have improved in recent weeks over pre-season, and confidence is building at Ibrox.
Rangers get their league campaign under way, when they take on Motherwell at the weekend.
