Former Rangers star Barry Ferguson seems to rate the current Celtic squad highly, while Ibrox manager Pedro Caixinha shares what he told his players after the summer transfer window closed.

The Gers were quite busy in the summer transfer window and signed a number of players for the 2017-18 campaign.
Among the players that the Ibrox outfit recruited were Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Fabio Cardoso and Alfredo Morelos.
Rangers boss Caixinha has revealed what he told his players after the summer transfer window closed.

“When we closed the window I told everyone, ‘we have the players we asked for’,” Caixinha told Herald Scotland.
“We have one squad that is complete, we have one squad which gives us options and solutions. We have also one squad that is giving competitiveness.”
Meanwhile, former Rangers midfielder Barry Ferguson believes that Celtic are good enough to play in the Premier League at the moment.
Ferguson, though, does not think that the current Rangers squad is equipped to compete in the top flight of English football.

“With their current squad, Celtic would certainly hold their own in the Premier League,” The Mirror quotes Ferguson as saying.
”For me, they wouldn’t be in the relegation and they would control a place easily in the Premier League.
“On the other hand, Rangers I’m not too sure. With their new squad, I haven’t seen enough of them and it’s still early doors for a lot of these players so it’s hard to say.”
Rangers and Celtic will face each other at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Brendan Rodgers’s side will head into the Old Firm derby as favourites, and it is hard to see the Gers pick up all three points from the encounter in Glasgow.
