Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are set to be without a number of players due to injury.

Pedro Caixinha has confirmed that Glasgow Rangers’ injury crisis is set to continue, with Lee Hodson the only player due to return against Aberdeen.

Rangers were without a number of first-team players in midweek, for their match against Kilmarnock.

The Ibrox side were forced to name both Myles Beerman and David Bates amongst the starters, with the youngsters both receiving their debuts.

And the duo could be involved again, as Rangers’ injury problems have barely lessened during the week.

Rangers go into their match against Aberdeen knowing that nothing less than a win will suffice.

Caixinha has made no secret of his desire to catch the Dons, but Rangers have ground to make up.

The Light Blues are currently 12 points behind Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership table, with time running out to catch them.

Rangers are currently unbeaten under Caixinha’s stewardship, having drawn two and won one of his first three games in charge.
