The Leeds United prospect spent the best part of a month at York City.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell has returned to Leeds United after York City brought in a replacement goalkeeper.
Peacock-Farrell made the short hop to Bootham Crescent in mid-October on a month-long loan deal, and made four appearances for the National League North side.
He was on the winning side in only one of those, however, and failed to keep a single clean sheet, conceding on nine occasions.
The 21-year-old’s return to Leeds was confirmed by York boss Martin Gray on Thursday, following Wednesday’s capture of Adam Bartlett on a permanent deal from Darlington.
And Peacock-Farrell, who signed a new three-year deal ahead of his temporary move away from Elland Road, will now switch his attention back towards breaking into Thomas Christiansen’s plans.
The Leeds boss has overseen six defeats in seven Championship matches, in which neither of his goalkeepers have properly convinced.
Peacock-Farrell revealed last month he hoped his spell at York would boost his chances of making Northern Ireland’s squad for the 2018 World Cup.
