With his future at Manchester City in doubt, clubs such as West Ham United, Celtic and Liverpool should all be looking at making a move for Joe Hart in the summer.

Many eyebrows were raised when Manchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who has arguably been one of the best keepers in the Premier League over the last few years, departed Manchester on loan for Italian side Torino.

Seemingly not in manager Pep Guardiola’s plans, the England number one was desperate for first team football, and linked up with the Italian side in a bid to keep getting regular games.

With Hart’s future at the Etihad looking increasingly uncertain, which clubs should be keeping tabs on the England international’s situation? HITC Sport has pulled together a list of three teams which could benefit greatly from having Joe Hart in the side, but have we missed anyone out? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!

1. West Ham United

The Hammers have had an up-and-down season this year. Despite fans hoping to push on for European football once again, the Hammers transition to their new stadium has been anything but smooth, and the Dimitri Payet saga has put a dampener on what could have been a good season for West Ham. Seeking a revival in the summer, might the Hammers look to start from the back and recruit a new goalkeeper before the next campaign? A signing of Joe hart’s stature may well usher in a wave of high-profile arrivals.

2. Liverpool

Liverpool have had troubles at the back all season, and may well have still been pushing for the Premier League title should they have not suffered from the goal-keeping crisis they went through earlier this season. Clearly not confident in either, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has juggled between Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius all season, and might be wise to look for a new shot-stopper in the summer. But could Liverpool convince Manchester City to sell to a rival?

3. Celtic

After an outstanding first season for Brendan Rodgers, Celtic will be hoping to go on to achieve even bigger and better things next season. The one chalice that needs to be cracked for the Glasgow club, is the Champions League, and with access to the qualifying rounds guaranteed for next season, Brendan Rodgers might well be starting to draw together a list of potential summer targets who can come in and add that bit of extra class, which Celtic will need. With Joe Hart potentially looking for a new home, Brendan Rodgers might well try to tempt the England keeper to Scotland, with the allure of regular football and Champions League football available. And the truth is, there are few bigger clubs in the UK.
