West Ham United take on Leicester City on Saturday in the Premier League and HITC pundits give their predictions on the likely outcome.

Dan Coombs

West Ham 1-2 Leicester City

This should be a comedown for Leicester after their Champions League heroics, but West Ham’s defending last week against Bournemouth suggests the Hammers can be taken advantage of.

West Ham 1-2 Leicester City

If only Leicester had played like this all season. They were back to their title-winning best against Sevilla in midweek and, if the spine of Schmeichel, Fuchs, Drinkwater and Vardy can recover from an exhausting evening at the King Power, West Ham will be in for a tough test indeed.

West Ham 1-2 Leicester City

Leicester City have not won a league game away from home all season; an extraordinary record in mid-March for a team in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Yet I am backing them to finally get three points on their travels in their first visit to the London Stadium. West Ham are really out of sorts, whilst the Foxes have won their last three games and will be on a high following their European triumph.

West Ham 1-2 Leicester City

Leicester are a different side under Craig Shakespeare and if they play as they did for much of last season, thriving on the counter-attack, the Foxes should take advantage of a West Ham defence that continues to look porous.

West Ham 1-1 Leicester City

Are the new, old Leicester going to continue their around? It is hard to say, but they certainly looked to be back against Sevilla. This is Craig Shakespeare’s first away game as Foxes boss, and I think he’ll win a point against a West Ham side who are winless in four.

Leicester may be back on track under Shakespeare, but are yet to win away in the league, which could spell good news for West Ham, who are hit and miss at home. The Hammers are a decent side, though, and the two could cancel each other out.
