Spurs left it late against Swansea in midweek but a Vincent Janssen-Heung Min Son combo gives them optimism in the continued absence of Harry Kane. As does the terrific form of Christian Eriksen. Expect Watford to produce a typically dogged display but Spurs’ creativity will see them edge another win.

Watford are on the slide and I don’t think they’ll pose Spurs much threat this weekend, especially considering the game is at White Hart Lane. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the game become a free-flowing, goalfest for Tottenham, as they look to keep up the heat of Chelsea.

Spurs are a well-oiled machine right now, even without the goal scoring exploits of Harry Kane. Back-to-back wins for Watford has all but confirmed their Premier League status for another season, and whilst they’d love to set that in stone with a result at White Hart Lane, we’ve often seen the difference in quality between the top seven and the rest of the league this season, and I expect Spurs to exhibit that once again.

Watford got two much needed wins under the belt to put daylight between them and any relegation fears, but they are visiting the best home team in the division in Tottenham. Spurs will be massively buoyed by their stunning turnaround at Swansea, and it is hard to see anything but a comprehensive win at White Hart Lane – Dele Alli could be the match winner yet again, and 2-0 is a cautious prediction.
