Leeds United take on Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday in the Championship, and HITC pundits give their predictions on the likely outcome.
Leeds United 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Leeds have lost a little of their spark in recent fixtures, with the 0-0 home draw against QPR especially disappointing. Brighton are battling to keep pace with Newcastle, and might just view a point as a good result at Elland Road.

Leeds United 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion
The Whites have struggled to break down deep-lying defences in recent weeks and much will depend on how Brighton approach this crucial clash. Sit back and hit Leeds on the counter and they could reap rewards after thrashing both Reading and Derby via lethal breaks.
Brighton manager Chris Hughton
Leeds United 0-2 Brighton & Hove Albion
After a couple of untimely defeats, Brighton have now put together back-to-back wins, convincingly beating Rotherham United and Derby County. Leeds have drawn their last two games, and whilst they are now unbeaten in six, Brighton are a very good team. For me, Chris Hughton’s men have a touch to much quality for Leeds, and record a huge away win.
Leeds United 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
This is a huge match for both sides and I can see a narrow victory for Leeds if they play to their full potential. Home advantage will play its part and given the Whites’ recent struggles they will understand the importance of getting a massive three points on the board.
Leeds United 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Should be a cracker, with both teams desperate to avoid defeat, and for slightly different reasons. Brighton may still fancy their title chances with a victory, but I have a feeling that Leeds will scrape the win that pretty much secures a play off spot. They needs Chris Wood on top form to get the three points.

Leeds United 1-0 Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton haven’t travelled well of late while Leeds have turned Elland Road into something of a fortress. The Whites won the last pressure game there – against Sheffield Wednesday – by the same scoreline.
