Derby County face Leicester City on Friday night in the fourth round of the FA Cup and HITC pundits give their predictions on the likely outcome.

Dan Coombs

Derby County 2-0 Leicester City

Leicester are on a poor run of form and expect Claudio Ranieri to revert to his ‘Tinkerman’ ways by rotating his team. Derby have renewed confidence under Steve McClaren and this is a chance for them to make a statement with an impressive win.

Derby County 1-2 Leicester City

The Rams might have demonstrated their ‘giant killing’ capabilities with an away win against West Brom in round three but, with Leicester City badly in need of a pick-me-up, Claudio Ranieri should field a relatively strong side at the iPro.

Derby County 2-1 Leicester City

Derby have knocked out stronger Premier League opposition already in this competition in the form of West Brom, and Leicester have both a Premier League relegation scrap and the Champions League knockout stages to contend with. A home win likely.

Vincent Ralph

Derby County 2-1 Leicester City

There could be a shock on the cards with Leicester likely to rotate and the Rams gunning for the Premier League champions. I am tipping Derby to heap more misery on the struggling Foxes.

Che Thomas

Derby County 2-1 Leicester City

The result depends on the teams each side put out, but even if both put out first choice XIs, I would maybe fancy the Championship side to edge the Premier League champions, whose away form has been terrible.

Derby County 1-1 Leicester City

There is only one winner on paper but with teams on contrasting runs of form, I suspect this could go to a replay that neither side will be particularly bothered about.
