Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could be a problem for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in their quest to sign Declan Rice from David Moyes’s West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has reported on Twitter that Arsenal are leading the race for Declan Rice, but Liverpool are keen on the West Ham United midfielder as well.

Galetti has added that talks between Arsenal and West Ham over the England international are ongoing, but he has suggested that Liverpool could be a problem for the Gunners.

Tough choice for Declan Rice between Arsenal and Liverpool

In our view, it is not going to be easy for Declan Rice to choose between Arsenal and Liverpool.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are massive clubs and are global brands.

While the Gunners will play in the UEFA Champions League next season, the Reds won the European competition and the Premier League not so long ago.

Rice would make Arsenal or Liverpool better in the middle of the park, and we believe that if both the clubs made offers to him, then it would be really hard for him to make a decision.

Liverpool need a player like Rice, who is one of the best midfielders around and was described as “a diamond and a fabulous player” by former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves on told Premier League Productions (29/04/23 at 11:50 am).

The 24-year-old is a brilliant midfielder who can hold his own in the middle of the park and can be an imposing figure.
