Leeds United confirmed the signing of Pawel Cibicki earlier today.

New Leeds United signing Pawel Cibicki has spoken out after clinching his move to the club.
Speaking to the club’s official media channels, Cibicki explained what fans can expect from him.
He is determined to help the club win promotion and believes he is joining a team on the rise.
Cibicki said: “It’s a fantastic club I know Leeds have a very good big history and I hope to make a new one here. I hope to bring them back to the Premier League.
“I can play in every forward place, up front, right, left, I hope I can bring speed to the team, I am very clever football player.”

Cibicki is certainly not lacking confidence and he certainly feels like he can be an asset to Thomas Christiansen’s side.
The 23-year-old is a former Malmo teammate of Leeds centre-back Pontus Jansson and he confirms they have already spoken about the move.

Cibicki added: “My good friend Pontus, I spoke with him. He told me it’s very good, he told me he’d take care of me.”
The Swedish talent is a versatile option for new manager Christiansen, who is looking to replace last season’s top goalscorer Chris Wood.
Jay-Roy Grot has been signed from NEC Nijmegen, while they are trying to get a loan move for Hamburg’s Pierre-Michel Lasogga over the line too.
