Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson was backing Malmo against Chelsea.

Leeds United-owned IF Elfsborg winger Pawel Cibicki has spoken highly of Pontus Jansson for his support for Malmo FF against Chelsea on Twitter.
Jansson, who is one of the best players for Leeds and is hugely popular among the Elland Road faithful, linked up with a group of Malmo fans ahead of the Swedish club’s Europa League Round of 32 second-leg tie against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in London on Thursday evening.
As reported in The Daily Mail, the 28-year-old Sweden international central defender sang with the Malmo fans, and his support for the team was clear for everyone to see.
Cibicki, who can operate as a striker or as a winger and is on loan at IF Elfsborg from Leeds, was impressed with the 28-year-old.
The 25-year-old former Sweden Under-21 international wrote on Twitter, which then translated from Swedish, reads: “@PJansson5 There you have a real MFF supporter! Respect my brother.”

Stats
Jansson joined Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Torino in the summer of 2016 and made the move permanent in the summer of 2017 for a fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £3.5 million.
So far this season, the 28-year-old has made 23 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
