Leeds United signed Pawel Cibicki from Malmo FF on transfer deadline day.
The 23-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, joined Leeds from Malmo FF on transfer deadline day.
As announced on the West Yorkshire outfit’s official website, the former Sweden Under-21 international has signed a four-year deal with the Championship club.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds had to pay Malmo a transfer fee of £1.45 million in order to secure the services of Cibicki.
Cibicki could make his debut for Leeds next weekend when Thomas Christiansen’s side take on Burton Albion at Elland Road in the Championship.
The 23-year-old has urged the fans to be at Elland Road for the game when he makes his debut for his new club.
“I am very pleased to sign for Leeds United and I hope to see everyone here when I make my debut at Elland Road and I am happy to be here,” Cibicki told LUTV.
Leeds have made a strong start to the 2017-18 Championship campaign, and find themselves third in the league table with 11 points from five matches.
