Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

Gazzaniga has played second fiddle to Hugo Lloris at Tottenham for a number of seasons.
However, with Lloris out injured, Gazzaniga looks set to get his big chance now.
Lloris could be out for weeks after seriously damaging his arm, and it means that Mauricio Pochettino will have to put his trust in Gazzaniga.
The 27-year-old has generally proven himself to be a fairly reliable number two.
And Gazzaniga insists that he is ready to step up and play regularly for Tottenham now.
“It’s always the same answer, I’m ready,” the goalkeeper said. “I try to be focussed. I believe in myself and my team-mates, and that’s the only way. We know we have to be strong. At home, especially, we have to be strong.”

Gazzaniga steps into Tottenham’s team at a highly pressurised time, with Pochettino’s side badly out of sorts.
Spurs have looked well short of their best and were beaten 3-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion in their last match before the international break.
Tottenham’s next game comes against Watford at home, as they look to get back to winning ways.
